Uptime Monitoring

Uptime Monitoring and Website Care

A dealer site that goes down on a Saturday morning costs sales that nobody ever counts, because nobody ever knows it happened. Monitoring means you find out from us rather than from a customer.
Checked Around the Clock
Your site tested continuously, from outside your own network.
Told Before Your Customers
An alert the moment it fails, not a complaint on Monday.
Updates and Backups
Core, theme and plugin updates, with a working backup taken first.
Reported
What was monitored, what broke, what was fixed, in the monthly report.

Tell us what you are running and we will tell you what monitoring it needs, and what currently has no safety net at all.

What Is Monitored

Uptime is the obvious one, but it is rarely what actually goes wrong. More common is a site that is up and broken: a form that stopped delivering, a certificate that expired, a plugin update that quietly emptied a page, or a stock feed that stopped updating.

The silences are the dangerous part

A site that is down announces itself. A contact form that stopped sending does not — the enquiries simply stop arriving and the assumption is that things are quiet. That is the failure worth monitoring for.

When Something Breaks

Alerts come to us first. For anything we manage, we investigate and fix it, and tell you what happened and what it affected. You get the explanation, not the incident.

Part of a Care Plan

Monitoring, updates, backups, security and a monthly report are delivered together as ongoing care for the site. It is the least glamorous service we offer and the one that most often saves a dealer a bad weekend.
